Setting up in five minutes

One location, one screen, your team. In that order, and none of it takes long.

A location, a display, and your people — in that order, and you can check in yourself before the last one. About five minutes altogether, and the timings below are honest rather than optimistic.

Add your location and its checks · 1½ min

A place people arrive at — an office, a site, a branch. It carries its own timezone, which decides the business day a check-in belongs to.

Set its checks while you are here: a geofence confirms the phone was near the place, and the office Wi-Fi check confirms the check-in came from your network. Both are optional, both can be changed later, and doing them now means the screen goes up on a location that is already configured.

Pair a display · 45 sec

The screen by the door. Any device with a browser: a tablet, an old phone, a TV, a laptop nobody uses. Name it, choose its location, and pair it.

If the device has a camera, point it at the pairing code on your computer. If it has none — a TV, usually — open /register on the device and type the short code it shows into your computer.

Once paired, it displays the check-in code, which changes every thirty seconds.

Try it · 45 sec

You are already on the list — you created the organization — so you can check in right now. Scan the display with your own phone, exactly the way your team will.

Then open Live in the LiteEntry console: your name is there, with the time you arrived and the location you arrived at. That is the whole thing working end to end.

Do it before adding anybody else. If something is wrong, this is when you want to find out.

Add your team · 2 min

Upload a CSV of names and emails — two columns — or add people by hand if there are only a few. Nothing is sent to them: no invitation, no activation link, no password. They sign in to LiteEntry with their Google account the first time they scan, and that is their whole setup.
