How to see who is in the office right now
Knowing who is actually on site at this minute, across several offices, without ringing round or asking people to share their location.
Open Live. It lists every location side by side, each on its own clock, with who checked in there today and has not checked out. That is the answer to “who is in the Dubai office right now” without a phone call.
It works because presence comes from a deliberate act — somebody scanned a code at that door — rather than from anything running on their phone.
Why this is a different question from attendance
Most attendance software is backward-looking. It exists to tell payroll what happened last month, and it is very good at that and useless at four in the afternoon when something has gone wrong at a site you are not at.
The question then is not who worked last Tuesday. It is who is there now, and the honest ways to find out have always been bad: ring round, ask a group chat, or walk the floor.
What Live gives you
Who is at each location, right now, on that location’s own business day, with the time they arrived.
A name to call. Something needs doing at a site you are not at, and instead of ringing round you can see who is there and reach them directly.
A number you can act on. If a location’s screen goes offline, Live tells you straight away, so you always know the count in front of you is real.
Several offices, several clocks
Each location shows its own local time and its own count, so an office that has gone home reads differently from one that has not opened yet. This matters most at the hours when your assumptions break: before five everybody is roughly where you expect, and at seven in the evening the building has emptied unevenly and nobody can see it.

People checked in from elsewhere
If an administrator has switched on remote check-in for a location, somebody can record a start without scanning a screen. Live counts those separately — 9 on site, 3 remote — rather than merging them, because when something needs a person at that office, somebody working from home is no help.
