Attendance for warehouses

Shift attendance for warehouses and distribution centres — rotating QR on any screen, overnight shifts handled correctly, no app to install.

Mount a display at the entrance — any screen with a browser — and workers scan the rotating QR code with the phone already in their pocket. LiteEntry records who arrived, at which site, and when. The same scan checks them out at shift end. Nothing is installed on personal phones, and nothing requires an IT team to set up.

Shift workers and overnight

A shift that starts Monday evening and ends Tuesday morning is one row on Monday — filed under the day it began, the way a rota reads it. LiteEntry does not split it across two dates or leave the Tuesday check-out orphaned on the wrong day.

The same applies to any shift running past midnight: one row, the correct date, the full duration counted.

Shared devices

A single tablet at the warehouse entrance is a normal setup. Device recognition notices when one phone checks in two different people and records the pattern. It never blocks a check-in — a shared work phone on a factory floor is legitimate — but repeated pairs of names on one device appear in the report on the day they happen.

Multiple sites and doors

Each location has its own display, its own timezone, and its own configuration. Geofencing can be set per location: a radius that confirms a check-in came from the loading dock rather than the car park across the road. The network check is the indoor alternative — it confirms the check-in came from the warehouse Wi-Fi, which is often more reliable than GPS on a large floor plan.

Adding a second site is adding a location, pointing a spare screen at its display page, and uploading the people there. Nothing is shipped, nobody travels, and the fourth site takes the same five minutes as the first.

No hardware to buy

The display is any device with a browser: a spare tablet, an old phone, a TV, a laptop. There is no terminal to procure, no badge reader to wire in, and no support contract per door. If the screen goes offline, Live says so against that location, so an empty list does not read as an empty shift.

A supervisor checking whether the night shift arrived does not need to be on the floor. Open Live on any device and the current check-ins are there, with the location and the time each person arrived.
